Can Vitamin C cause skin irritation?Updated a year ago

While Vitamin C is generally well-tolerated, some individuals with sensitive skin may experience mild irritation. This is particularly true for L-ascorbic acid, the most potent form of Vitamin C. We use Vitamin C derivatives which are known to be more gentle on the skin. This is because they are stable at a more skin-friendly pH and are less likely to cause surface-level irritation.
